as fragile as delilah seems, she is quite aggressive and stubborn when she must.
quite selfish as well, as her parents seemed to bend over backwards for her.

she thinks quite highly of herself, doesn't take critisism well at all.

born as a fourth child, but no siblings.
the rest of her older brothers and sisters had been either miscarriages or stillborn.
with the meager diet and living conditions they had, it was hard to get successful births underground.
her family just had it worse.
heartbroken about the lost kids, her mother babied delilah even more.

she got everything she ever wanted, which was more than the other children could say.
